My Current Skincare Routine

Hello beautiful people!

Today I am going to cover my current skincare routine for you all. I want to note that I have always struggled with acne pretty much my entire life (but for some reason my skin is loving postpartum and I have not had any breakouts… hoping that sticks lol), so these products are very acne safe! I also want to say that everyone is different, so what works for me might not work for your skin. My aesthetician put me onto these products years ago because these were the ones that she knew would work well for me and my skin type.

AM ROUTINE:

  1. Cleanse with Is Clinical:
    Wash my face two times through. I also am sure to turn the water down when I am in the shower so my face doesn’t get burnt! Lukewarm is perfect for me.

2. Immediately after shower: Vitamin C Serum.
This stuff 100% helps my skin glow. The brand Truth Treatments is great because it is more potent than most products on the market. It will also give your skin a dewy look all day long which we love. 

3. Sunbetter Tinted Moisturizing Sunscreen:
This is the best I have EVERRRR used! No joke I will probably never use a different product. Adds some natural coverage while protecting from the sun.

PM ROUTINE: 

  1. Cleanse with Is Clinical:
    I wash my face TWO times through with this wash (and then a third wash with the product below). If you don’t believe me how much still comes off your face after the second wash, just use a white washcloth. You’ll see why I do it three times through lol! 

  2. Cleanse with Vivant BP Wash:
    I use this one on the THIRD wash. It is an acne controlling wash which I have been using for years and love.

3. Vitamin C Serum
This is just the same one that I use in the morning! This Vitamin C is a bit pricey, but since it’s so potent it lasts a lot longer. I’ve found that investing in good quality skincare is so worth the month.

4. SOMETIMES if I need more moisture on my skin I will use Aquaphor on my under eyes and crows feet. Also my neck and chest!! Nice and oilyyyy like a glazed donut hehe. 

That is all! Simple, effective, no BS skincare routine. <3
