The time has come for the final nursery reveal and I think you guys are going to absolutely LOVE it. When I walk into the space… it feels absolutely magical. It is so special and near and dear to my heart! If you haven’t already I highly recommend reading the Initial Design Inspiration Blog and the Nursery Update Blog so you can see some of the earlier steps of the process of creating the room! It took my mom 10 full days to complete the DIY portion and then we got to work setting all of the furniture up/making it come to life!
You can also head over to my Nursery Essentials Blog to find links for everything we used!
Now, without further ado…let’s get into the reveal!!! Below is the before and after of the space!!
Nursery Reveal!!!
From the molding detail to the bunny wallpaper, this room has come together beautifully and is my favorite and most decorated room in the house so far! It holds so much excitement for what is to come in this next chapter of our lives!
This is baby’s changing table. We decided to just do a normal dresser with a changing pad on top. I think a dresser will be perfect to hold all of the essentials for changing and when he gets older, we can just remove the changing pad and use it as a normal dresser!
As you can see he already has quite an assortment of stuffed bunnies. So dang cute!!
The crib is probably my very favorite thing in the nursery. It is a vintage-inspired iron crib with bunny finials at the top and is actually the same crib my mom had with my little sister. The sheep bedding is something I have had my eye on since day one and it is even cuter in person.
Steve and I have been waiting for years for our new house to be done. Leave it to me to push super hard these last 6 months to make sure we are in here before baby… and we did it!! SO… Hanging up all of his little clothes was EXTRA special to me. Getting his room all settled at the very last moment was a huge blessing (thank you Jesus!).
Anywho… This boy is going to be more stylish than me lol. All newborn sizing is on top and the 0-3 months is hung on the bottom.
In terms of the chandelier - I got it from Amazon and then my mom transformed the shades by taking the leftover wallpaper and wallpapering them. It looks like it was designed for this room and really brings everything together.
It was such a simple DIY but made such a big difference!
It truly turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. If you want to see any of the DIY details, you can find them on my mom’s blog. If you want to know how to install picture frame molding yourself, she has a whole post on how she installed it and also one all about wallpapering inside trim!
Bringing baby boy home to this room will be a memory I will cherish forever.
Until next time!!
